Traveling Heater Method Furnace

This is a 3” bore, 12 zone furnace capable of reaching temperatures up to 1150°C. The whole furnace can be translated in axial direction at very slow rates, such as a few mm/day. This furnace has been used to grow CdZnTe using the Solvent Zone method and is also used for zone-refining of tellurium.
