High Pressure Bridgman Growth Furnaces
The high pressure Bridgman (HPB) system is a melt growth system capable of growing large (up to 10 kg) bulk single crystals from melt and solution. The process is specifically advantageous for growing II-VI and III-V compound semiconductors with volatile components such as As, Se, Cd. The high inert gas pressure allows for integrated synthesis from elemental sources, followed by growth in one process step, ensuring purity and cost reduction.
